I am needing to replace my two-year old iPhone and was really thinking of going to something that has a keyboard (not a touchscreen) and wondered what everyone else has that they like. I am currently looking at the Blackberry line with the 8900 and the 9000.

I would like to hold off until version 3 of the iPhone is announced but I don't think my current one will last that long.

I love the blackberry for its keyboard. I love the iphone but don't think I could deal with no keyboard on it.

I really like my Blackberry 8820. It doesn't have a camera, but there are some places I go where I can't take a camera anyway.

Built in WiFi makes it really nice, and the keyboard feels better than any other phone I've had.

It's worth a look if you can get past not having a camera.

I went with the Blackberry Curve 8900 since my wife liked it as well and said she would use it if I wanted to switch back over to the iPhone once the new version is released. Strange getting use to the OS but very nice having a keyboard to use. Their support for Macs is not as good as I would like but that's just another reason to keep a VM of XP loaded.

For all of you whom have bought the current iPhone 3G in the last year there is a hefty price if you want to upgrade to the 3GS in a couple of weeks.

Just Hand Over The Wallet

If you have doubts about this go online to the Apple store and click on existing account, you will be informed if you qualify for the intro pricing. I would have to switch the new Blackberry to my wife's account and still wait until after 09/20 of this year to not pay a penalty.

Cellphones and their d@mn multi-year contracts... suck. Why can't you just buy the stupid device and then, you know, sign up for service (under contract or otherwise).

I'll sign a new contract the instant my device warranty is equal to the length of the contract.

I have the BlackBerry Bold (9000) and it is pretty cool... except that I haven't figured out all of the quirks yet. You some times have to pull the battery to fix memory leaks. and it is very easy to leave applications running in the background without knowing (memory usage, battery drain, etc...), but the physical keyboard is awesome!

Plus you can head over to videos4blackberry.info and download videos to watch for free! though I guess they aren't limited to the BlackBerry since the videos are in 3GP format.

The trackball is much nicer, and useful, than the scroll wheel though.

The Blackberry test is over.

Walked into AT&T Sunday and walked out with a new iPhone 3GS (16GB/Black).

I just got the 32. I didn't even make it to the "k"s in my mp3 catalog before it was full. I love the blackberry keyboard, but the landscape view on the iphone isn't to bad.

Once you get one, you will wonder how you lived without it. It is not a phone, it is a Swiss Army Device. So many things to do.

I won't be satisfied with these until they hit a few terabyte.

Yea, you should really throw one of these in with your session fee.
